OSTRA, the Orem Short Term Rental Alliance, advocates for fair and balanced regulations in the city of Orem, Utah. We aim to have a seat at the table to educate and learn with city officials making the decisions. As hosts, we value living in harmony with our neighborhoods and being an integral part of the community. Many of our hosts live in their homes and rent out a portion of the space, ensuring parking, noise, and other potential issues are under control to minimize the impact of vacation rentals on the neighborhood. When managed correctly, the neighborhood won't even know there is a vacation rental next door.
Host Education
At OSTRA, we provide education and support for hosts to ensure they understand their responsibilities and the best practices for managing short term rentals. Through workshops and resources, we equip hosts with the knowledge and tools to be exemplary members of the community while operating vacation rentals.
